Default squeaky sound AGAIN!!!

I took the car into the shop( not the dealer) and he couldnt even hear it!! I went over and drove him around and he still couldnt hear it!! Then I had him get out and listen while I drove and THEN HE HEARD it... sounds like birds tweeting...lol..he said when the bearing go bad it is a growling sound..not a squeaky sound...definitely in the passenger front tire...
BTW....he says quote "That is one sweet ride you have there" LOL..and it only has cosmetic mods...LOL...I love to hear that!!
So, now does anyone have any ideas??Also, when I bought the car..they had turned the rotors and replaced the brakes...but the noise is not brake related per se....

Usually when a wheel bearing fails it will have a growling sound noticable at high speeds, when a caliper is sticking or uneven (what it REALLY sounds like..but maybe not) you get a sqeak which should change when you hold the breaks while you hold the gas. I have had issues with calipers sticking before, not to the point to affect the car, but just an annoyance more than anything.

Assuming we can hold the breaks and the noise does not change it is likely not break related and could be related to the wheel bearing/hub assembly.

thats what he kinda said...a person who does not know the car would not even notice it...like him...but it is just annoying...it is really not that loud either...he said it is definitely not a safety issue...maybe I am just being too picky about my car??
EDIT...there is no noise at highway speed..you have to be going slow with windows down and strain to hear it...unless you are pulling into the garage...thats when I really notice it...I think because it is enclosed and QUIET

can you hold the brakes and see if the sound goes away?? If you just had the pads changed and rotors you could still have an issue, I have had it happen on 2 cars I have had where it turned out the caliper was sticking.

DANG!!!!! Stop tempting me!!! Hubby might just get left at home to work!!!!! No, I wouldnt do that...but I do wish the sound would go away...well lets see...we got the car in Jan.. so its been since Jan since the pads and rotors...and no..the sound is there the same if brakes are applied or not...I dont know if it is there at faster speeds because it is not loud at all..so it has to be pretty slow driving to hear it..

You'll find it probably something small that needs to be lubed.

Had a problem with a '93 Bonneville that sounds similar. Not sure if the same as yours or not. Barely audible, right front, and could hear better when it reflected back off a curb. New pads and having the rotors turned did not stop it. Later, when the rotor warped and couldn't be turned again - new rotors and pads stopped the noise. Why the new rotors and not the turned ones, I don't know.
