No, that is just to put them in. I already purchased them.
A good copper plug. such as these. http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...tegory_Code=IE

Not sure if you have done any mods to your car, if so you could use the 605, otherwise go with the stock heat range. sorry, don't have those numbers bu tif you ask for autolites for your car it will show up on there system.

$75 just to change plugs? Man, I need to start doing that. It'* not that hard, shoudl be between 30 and 60 mins. If you have a brace between the tops of your struts near the back of the engine, you can remove that (4 bolts) gives you a lot more room.

No, no mods done to my car……….BTW it has 178k miles and still going strong. Sure I’ve had to have things replaced and fixed………..I’ve just realized that this car is worth more to me than any other person on the face the planet. I couldn’t find another used car that I’d trust to haul my Arse around, for less than 11k. So “fix away” I will!!!

I just thought it might be fun to try this………..but ya, now I’m not sure. LOL

You want to take a trip to Illinois?

The shops are telling me that it is an hour job each, 1 hr for the plugs and 1 hr for the wires. I told them to stop lying to me.............he said he'd do it for $75.......I'm thinking of just doing it.

And doesn't Wal-Mart sell Autolite?.....worth looking into.........

1 hour to change your plug wires??? I could see perhaps a hour total. I think I changed my plugs in 30 mins. And did my wifes in a hour, and those I had to come up from under the van. If you take your time, perhaps 20 mins to change wires. Do it with the plugs and it take no time. The Illinios border is a 95 mile drive for me, sorry, a bit far to go. I was just down there Saturday, but I have no plans of going that far till faire season, but then I'm working.

I'd return the Bosch wires as well. That name hasn't had good luck with our cars. It was mainly due to bad O2 sensors but as a rule I think Bosch is bad. Many here use Belden wires that you can get from NAPA.

I can't stress enough how much of a help removing that rear bracket is. I hadn't seen a 00+ with the bracket in place in awhile until i saw MadMikes Sunday and it is entirely in the way. I just got new wires yesterday and without the brackets in the way i changed them in 15 minutes.

x2... Worked on #6 for about a half hour trying to get it out to no avail. Pulled off the bracket and bam, new plug was in about 5 min later.
