spark plug wire change question
alright i've finally gotten around to changing my wires because the dealership that did it last f'd up and damaged 2 of them on installation.. anyway, i've got one more left #6 and i reach around and there is either metal or a hard plastic around the boot, can anyone tell me if that is supposed to be there, i wish i could see what i was talking about

its probably just the metal heat shield on the boot, its there to cutdown heat transfer from the manifold... dont worry about it.. you dont need them

yeah after i got it off i kinda realized that... i put it back on for the heck of it anyway, thanks for the help though
