Spare and leak

Default Spare and leak

So I was cleaning out my trunk today and took out my spare tire to clean. When I was putting my spare back in I noticed that the bolt that stands straight up for the nut to tighten on to hold the spare and jack in place, 1 is loose it can wiggle around and 2 when I put the plastic peice in were the jack goes in the bolt never stands up straight it has a tilt to it...I was wondering is that normal? also is it normal for the bult to wiggle around?

My other question deals with the most common problem, the trunk leak..

Whenever it rains hardcore or I wash my car I have this issue. When I open my trunk the water leaks out of were the carpet ends. I know thats a horrible description but I'll try to describe it better. When you open your trunk you can see the latch ( I call it that, buts its the part that locks down the trunk) Right near there were the carpet ends is were it pours out of..What would I do with that?

My bolt was rusted off on the bottom, and when i would turn the big plastic **** on top to open it up, the bolt was just spinning. i had to break it off just to get at my spare. yours could be rusted too with all that leaking
