Default Slight shudder shifting into OD

Its very random and happens under light to semi-moderate acceleration between 60-70mph as the trans shifts up into OD.

I remember some people saying something about a few solenoids inside the trans that can get "stuck" at times. True? Replace, clean, etc?

If I get on it a little or go as far as WOT the trans shifts clean and hard (PCM + Shift Kit).

Car only has 68k and I'm the 2nd owner so I highly doubt I've already blown the trans because I'm not excessively harsh on this car, but you never know with GM.

The TCC could be sticking. If it gets bad enough, it will throw a code. Try a can of Sea Foam'* Trans Tune, then change the fluid, and see if that frees things up.

Thanks for the tip. I'll hit Farm & Fleet this weekend.

If I recall the trans pan needs to be dropped? Thats how I remember the shift kit process going.

Yup. Drop the pan, and change the filter while you're at things.

It'* not that hard, just a huge mess and looks like a scene out of The Shining is happening under your car.

Should the filter be changed every time I drop the pan? I replaced it a few months ago.

Oh, how much ft/lb do I torque the pan bolts to?

It'* generally a good idea, but normally after only a couple of months, I'd say no. In this case, after running the Trans Tune, I'd suggest changing it as we don't know what it may clean out that could get caught in the filter. Torque for the bolts is 10 ft. lbs.
