Does anyone know if the stock pcm should shift from 4th to 2nd at WOT? I was playing around tonight. I noticed if I was in 4th at like 50-60MPH and when WOT it would downshift and rev ~5000RPM by 80MPH. This is with 3.05 gear ratio.

I am assuming I was in 4th. I had the car in drive while cruising, and shift to 3rd which gave me a slight jump in RPM. I then put it back to drive and when WOT. I also took it to about 80MPH and shifted from drive to 3rd with brough the rpms from 2000RPM to like 3000RPM.

I didn't have the autotap on so cant be sure of exact gear ratios or sequence. But this seems like a skipshift or at least quick double down shift.

So does the PCM do this (2002 SSEi)?

My mods are 3.25P, TOG Headers, Thrasher CAI, 1.8 SLP Rockers, and 18X8.5 wheels.
