I've got a 2001 Bonneville SLE with 43000 miles the other day my SES light came on and i got a P0171 code. My baby has a hesitation when she hits 2nd gear. Any one else out there had the same problem? I've added a fuel injector cleaner and now waiting to see if that works.

PO171 is "System Too Lean (Bank 1)"
Sorry that'* all I can tell you.
Sounds like a fuel delivery problem.

The problem turned out to be a dirty fuel filter not getting enough fuel
