Driving it today it was a little less hesitant..i was wonering if it was the fuel system additive working through.

Luckily for you changing a fuel pump on a 2000+ is easy. There'* a access door in the trunk, no need to drop the fuel tank.

I would say run that tank of gas down and fill with a good quality gas. You may just have some water in the tank.

Yes that'* my next step..just run until it may clean itself just added seafoam..ironically i wanted it to be the fuel pump so it could be over, wich raises a question: with my past 92 SSEI i just hade to change the pump not the whole assembly about 90$ i priced the fuel pump for the 2000 it was a little over 300$ for whole unit..when i asked if they have just the pump i was told not avialable..so would you happen to know if the pump is sold seperatley?

Have you taken a look at www.rockauto.com might find better prices. Another option is a salvage yard.
