on the 95+ the module for the SIR or the SRS system is located under the passenger seat. Not sure about the 2000+ though

OK I think I got it.
the last time this happened we were expecting snow. so I keep in my car a flat nosed shovel in case I cant get to the door at work in the morning. I keep it in my back seat
with the shovel just under the passenger seat.
Of course since the snow stopped I took it out.
Now yesterday we were getting some snow again so i put the shovel back.
and yup you guessed it "check air bag"
?metal?

shovel goes in the trunk from now on.

Jim
