Well like I said previously Pontiac claims that 6.8 is doable for the GXP and I dont see that being the case.
How many miles you up to yet? Even with my shortstar is it significantly faster now at 53,000 miles than it was at 36,000 when I bought it. The N* engines take a LONG time to fully break in. They are very tightly wound when they're brand new. There have been stock V8 Auroras that ran low 8'* brand new off the lot, then after 30,000 miles they were down to very low 7'*.. A stock V8 Aurora ran 14.8 in the quarter mile. (a 2002 model) My guess is that once the GXP'* on here get some miles on them, they will be QUICK cars. . (I hope this theory holds true.. I"m waiting for owners with higher miles to get here. lol)

I find it hard to believe though that out of ALL the members on this board that have a 2000+ SLE/SE that NONE of them have tested their 0-60 times. I just don't believe it..

woah there.....first of all Gtechs are not accurate if they are not calibrated correctly, what did you use for the cars weight??, what Gtech model do you have ??that is a huge factor...we have much experience with the Gtechs, and they have been proven to be inaccurate with the worng inputs

i would not trust a Gtech, unless it was at the track and had the exact same times....which that almost never happens
