No smells out my pipes.

Actually I've been amazed at the total lack of exhaust smell. :o

O2 or catalytic converter. Most likely 2 problems.

I am considering taking off my Cat and using an off road pipe.

I don't think it will harm the engine. :?

Default Gas

Rotten egg smell is usually a sign of high sulpher content in your gas. If you have a hot running vehicle (like most mad men in Bonnies), your Cat gets super heated. The smell is caused by the sulpher burning through. Easy thing to do would switch brands or grades of gas. If the smell still persists after running through a full tank of different gas, you may want to talk to a mechanic who specializes in this crap. You might have to change your exhaust system...or just stock up on air freshener.

I find that once in a while when I use my remote starter, I get the smell, maybe once every 20 starts or so, usually after the car has been running.

And when it does...whew...the exhaust flys out the tip...its usually quite the smoke show, must be a lot of pressure.

Stinky tho...once every 20 starts or so.
