Default Resonator droan.

Does anybody that has removed the resonator have very strong intreior resonance at speed. Now I know that adding performance mufflers will give a certain droan inside, but I have alot and its starting to get annoying. Now I have converted the bonne to a single in / dual out Y pipe using a flowmaster hushpower muffler reloacted inbetween the exhaust tunnel between the rear suspension. Now I know by adding the resonator back into the system will help, but hurts performance :( . any ideas.

Cheers "TheKaddyKid"

I have never heard anyone say that a resonator hurts perormance... they are just a straight through pipe like a glass pack...

try this for a resonator
http://www.moroso.com/catalog/catego...?catcode=35054
this is what i have and it does not change the tone but it will get rid or most/all of
your intreior resonance sound.

The amount of performance hurt is well worth the lovely sound you won't hear. I've looked through a couple resonators and it'* a glass pack. There is very little restriction there.

Ok, im not really that worried about performance, but I just wanted to know if other people with their resonators removed have more of a interior droan.

Yes i did but it did not get bad until i got an high flow cat and then it got real LOUD.
That is when i got the Moroso and it got rid of the drone and lowered the volume so it was just right for my wife(its my wifes car).

I have a high flow CAT and no resonator. It sounds fine to me.
