I was under the impression from the thread that it was a recall. I could be wrong though...will double check....
Whats a TSB? Technical Service Bulletin? Will they still fix it for free? I don't care what they want to call it, but i'm not paying $1200 for it. Worst case scenario, will do it myself. I've done the struts on the 89 (though i would imagine these are probably a little more complicated) and I have done the wheel bearing on the 95 and murdock has done it on his 97 too...I tell you, my retro pay couldn't have come at a better time..becasue it'* all going now!
Looks like my luck just ran out

Edited because i've got retro pay, not severence

No, a technical service bulletin is just a known problem and resolution. Its not covered as a recall. If you have warranty it will be covered but in your case I think your going to have to pay.

To clarify, TSB ( Technical service bulletins) are not Recalls.
To date there has only been 1 recall for the 2000 year and 188 TSB'*.
Have a look here at alldata for a list of tsb'* and recalls.

Well i was quoted $1200 for the whole shibang and $450 was the bearing...so about $750 for strut mounts and bearings. It'* even WORSE tonight...sounds like it'* going to give out on me at any time lol...guess I will be pulling the good old 95 out...whatever happened to 2 years of driving with nothing going wrong?
There'* no way $450 is the cheapest (for quality) bearing I can get. Is the 2000 bearing the same as the 97? This same place quoted me $300 (cheapest) something for the bearings for the 95 and I ended up buying them for $150 someplace else.
