Working night shift last night, I was looking in parking lot 3 hrs after I had parked and ,brake lights just all of a sudden came on in front of my eyes.I went to my car and pulled up on brake pedal (which did not move but took some pressure off) and lights went out and stayed out.I thought it was weird they would pop on all of a sudden as u would have to apply pressure to the switch to make lights come on.Any way I will look into changing it.

The brake pedal at battery so to speak or fully relaxed actuates the stoplamp switch to open the brake light circuit. When you depress the brake pedal, the arm moves away from the stoplamp switch to close in (closing contacts) the brake light circuit. The stoplamp switch is located on the driver side of the brake pedal arm. Either the stoplamp switch is defective, or the brake pedal may not be fully returning to its relaxed state. Check it out, you'll have to remove the driver side sound insularor to get a look to see what'* going on up there.

Switch may just be to close to the pedal and won't release fully. There arfe plastic threads on those switches you can turn a bit to increase or decrease the distance from the pedal. maybe you just need to adjust the position of the brake light switch. I had to do this once on my 94 SSEi. Hope you lick it bud!
