Default Question For PontiacDad

Where did you get the diagram you used on your post (Rear window regulator replacement) posted Dec. 21, 2003 ? Is it from a GM service manual ?

Yes I have several factory service manuals. The door skin is tricky to remove and even harder to reinstall, diagram helps.

Yes, I had a very fun time with that door trim panel when I changed out the regulator. I wish I had your diagram with me at the time. I had to learn all the "tricks" myself, as there was no one around who had a clue. I managed to do the job without causing any damage by going very slowly and carefully. Now I would consider myself an expert. At least at that one particular job anyway. They want $135 for a factory service manual at helminc.com . I suppose it'* worth it, but at the time I couldn't spring for it right then. I still plan on getting one though. Thanks for your reply.
