Default Question about keys & the alarm beeper

Ok, I bought the car & it only had one key. The key is grey & it reads ballet.
Whats up with that?
Now, while looking in the junk jards I found a remote control. Can it be reprogramed to my car or do I need to buy a new one?

The grey key will only start the car. It will not fit the trunk or the glove box. It is a valet parking key.

It should read Valet and that key (grey) shouldnt do much other than park the car.
The key you have wont unlock the passenger door, trunk or glove box.
You can get a new key at the dealer, its embedded with a code that only a tech 2 programmer can change.
Same thing with the fob, it will need to be programmed as well.
