question about the gages on startup.

Hey guys, when I start my car the gages bounce back and forth before they finally settle. :? Is this normal? :?:

I can't remember but I think someone posted something about this a couple of weeks ago. I think that a GM engineer stated it started with a Corvette because it was COOL?!

Here is the reason behind the guages, found in the GM H-PLATFORM ENTHUSIAST web site

I know thats normal for all cars, but thats not what my car is doing. The needle gages are whipping back and forth several times before settling out. This shouldn't be normal but apperently , it is for this car.
My 99 WS6 Trans Am did the same thing but that was a problem for the car with the IC needing replacement. So thats why this caught my attention and make sure it wans't an issue.
