so while trying to get to the starter wire for something i was working on i was trying to take out the ignition switch and the little platic ring around the key slot was getting caught up so i tried to take it off and part of it cracked open and thats when i figured out it was the sensor for the passkey system and now its picky about when it wants to start and whe it is running the security light is on all the time

i've been looking at a replacement switch from rockauto but i cant tell if it has the sensor on there, someone from there is checking for me, but does anyone else have an idea where i could get it from? maybe a junker switch and pull what i need out
