pcv valve

Im changing my pcv valve on my 2000 pontiac Bonneville ssei is there anything i should clean since theres crud on the bottom of it and should i replace the spring or is it fine like it is...??

If your in there clean it up may as well just be careful..and the spring should be fine unless its broken

How wld i go abt it...?? Should i jst spray carb cleaner in it or....??
