I show 25739956 as the drivers window regulator, but it doesn't appear to be a valid part number.
DOOR WINDOW MOTOR
Add to Cart Application Part Number List Price Locate Part
Front,Left 12481874 $168.92
Front,Right 12481873 $148.18
Rear,Left 12481876 $155.43
Rear,Right 12481875 $155.43
DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR
Add to Cart Application Part Number List Price Locate Part
Front,Left, Includes Motor. 25739956 $0.00
Front,Right, Includes Motor. 25743672 $260.68
Rear,Left, Includes Motor. 25715742 $270.56
Rear,Right, Includes Motor. 25715741 $273.79
I'm not sure if they're having problems or not, but GMpartsDirect is having a fit with 2000 part numbers tonight. I show an intermediate shaft as 26073020, but their site shows no such part on the 8-digit number search, nor the advanced catalog search by year.

I think you have to buy the entire regulator assembly, and yes they have it at gmparts direct.com. You can email the specific door that you need, and they will get back to you with the part number. I think the regulator is about $160 or so. I have never seen an aftermarket version, but you would think someone would have one by now.

Default part #'*

Ok I've confirmed the replacement fix intermidate shaft as 10367811

Pontiac partsman says 12481875 for the driver side front window motor. I need to confirm that with another source.

Both parts available from gmparts.direct

I think I just need a new motor, as the window just won't go down. It had been intermitant. Has there been alot of failures on FRONT regulators? It had been working just fine.

Your part number looks good.
No there has not been any problems reported with the front regulators, yours does sound like a motor or cabling problem.

Default part numbers ..good news

Maybe got some good news. Dealer now thinks he can cover the repair for the intermediate shaft under warranty...because....I had it lubed while under warranty
and vehicle low mileage of 45,000.

Problem may be that there is a shortage of new shafts available. GM is having same problem with a bunch of Tahoes etc.

Why relace it just pull it out and re-lub it I wrote how to do the job in one of the steering problems experienced by another member. Scan these problem areas in this section and look for what I wrote to the gent. See Nov 26 discussion on "Intermediate Shaft Recall" by compyelc4 and what you need to do is in that discussion item.
good Luck

Just lube the old steering shaft. I replaced mine with the new one GM sells now and it was worse than the old one. I re-lubed the old one and put it back. Now it feels fine
