I went ahead a pulled the rest of the rockers off to test a theory and compare the tightness/looseness. Then I remembered that you told me that the rocker arm bolts needed to be replaced. None of the dealerships within 60 miles radius has them. So I decided to try and reuse the bolts. Broke one off in the head. So I ordered 7 new ones so in case I break another one, I'll have a back up. I also figured I would order a NOID light kit to test the injector harness output when ever I get everything back together. Also looked at the MAF sensor filaments. Both looks good. Checked the impedence of the 2-4-6 plug wires and they vary between 1500-1900 ohms.

I did notice a small piece of plastic laying on the intake manifold. Found out that it is the base material on the lower most portion of one of the OEM injectors that holds the seal in place. Found it missing on the #2 injector. Keep in mind this is the injector I swapped out from #1 to rule out that the new injector was faulty. Test was negative.

I am almost wondering if the Intense PCM I have may have gone out on me. If all else fails, I'll swap it back over to test out that theory.

Well...I officially give up. I have a woman that really want to purchase the car for what I owe on it, even with the miss. After checking the valve springs, replacing the rocker arm bolts, UIM and LIM gaskets, all new plugs new injector on #2, new injector seals, new fuel pump, and pretty much testing everything, I have gotten about 99% of the miss out of it. It only ssems to be noticable at WOT or part throllte going up an incline. The fuel filter is only about 2 months old.

I took it out a couple of minutes ago and it still give a flashing MIL with teh P0302 code, cylinder 2 misfire. While in park, I can throttle up to about 3,900-4,000 and bounce the rev limiter with no miss whatsoever. As soon as WOT it, it sputters at higher RPM until it hits the rev limiter.

I unplugged the MAF sensor and teh car idled like crap. Plugged it back in, idled great.

I plugged in a NOID lamp into the #2 injector. Pulsed like it should have. Guess that means the PCM and injector driver is good. I've literally hit a brick wall. No vacuum leaks from what I can tell. I might go ahead a try testing the spark plug up against ground and see it fires.

If she decides she wants it, I guess this will probably be the last time I post here. You guys are top notch and I could ask for better help...and entertainment at times.

We bought a new 2011 MINI Cooper Countryman. It'* not an * model but that is perfectly fine by me. In town it averages about 29 MPG and 39 highway with a 12 gallon tank. I have been a die hard domestic owner from the beginning...but that has offically changed. I am tired of being nickel and dimed to death by cars that are designed to fail. I still have my lifted Dodge but that may soon be coming to an end also. The Tundra and Titan are very appealing. I still love the Bonneville and may even shed a tear when it leaves. The only other Ponitac or GM I would really ever own would be a mid 90'* two door two wheel drive Tahoe or a 2009 G8 GXP.

Still, out of all the GM brands..Pontiac still stands above the rest.
