Default P0140

Hello everyone, I have a 2000 Bonneville SLE that has the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on and the trouble code read (P0140). I took the car to the mechanic and he put into the scanner and said that it might be the air pump below the air filter that might be damaged. After i did some research i have a 50/50 argument that some people say O2 sensor after catalist and some people say its the air pump and i seem to be somewhat stuck in the middle. When the car is driving and you step on the gas pedal it take a lot of effort for the car to actually pick up speed and i drove one of these before and it was very fast and mine seems to slag once you hit the pedal and even sometimes the Check Engine Light starts flashing and the car begins to idle and shake but it doesn't turn off. On the fuses i have given up since some don't light yp and some do and i really don't know which one is which since all the abreviations they have are hardle understandible.

Can anyone shed some light into this for me?

fuses don't light up in the first place, so you kinda lost me there?
but in your owners manual there should be a diagram listing what all the fuses are for.

In any case, it doesnt sound like a fuse has anything to do with your problem
