Whhattt....???
The non working remote has KOBLEAR1XT molded in the back surface.

The working remote has KOBUT1BT molded in the back surface.

I started this topic by asking a simple question. I did not know there was a sticky remote thread. Still can't find the sticky. Just wanted an answer without having to sift thru pages of topics that don't relate to my simple question.

Could be dealer ripoff. That'* why I generally avoid them.

I'm sorry to hear you purchased the wrong key fob off Ebay. The good news is you can likely re-sell it there. It'* also unfortunate you purchased the correct one from the dealer. However many times the correct answers take a bit more research and discussion than 1 hour. Please understand that the members do not purposely try to misguide you, as there is nothing to gain from that.

The search feature can help sift through the information here. All sticky'* are "stuck" to the top of their respective folder.
