I have somewhat of a similar situation as to the one here: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=89383
Except I have no oil smell or oil loss. When I start the car the gauge just goes right to 120 psi with no movement, even from a cold start. I have no DTC codes or anything. Faulty gauge perhaps? Ideas?

having the same issue with my bonne too, i just drove her from jacksonville fl, to great lakes ill. soon as i got her here in the cold, the oil pressure guage has been sitting at
120psi, I also suspect a faulty oil press sensor, not the gauge. is this a part that you can get from advance auto, or do you have to go to the dealer?

Ok, Thanks a lot! will start looking around for it, just to give you a heads up, i have the 02
sle. most of the problems i've had in the past like window regulators both went out, i went to the junk yard and pulled them out of a another bonne, they were easy to install
saved a bunch of money. other than that no major issue with mine, but the trunk still fill up with water.

Please discuss only one member'* car per topic - I'll split these out into a new topic for you. You can refer to the previous topic by referencing it in your new one: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=89383
The reason is that it can get confusing who'*-giving-what-advise-to-whom when there is more than one car in a topic. Thanks!

Yes, it is most likely a failed oil pressure sending unit. If you do it yourself, make sure you get the one that is labeled "With Gauge". I think I paid ~$45 for mine this winter from O'Reilly'*.
