I took the engine cover off one day to wash the engine. After I removed the cover I noticed these little puddles of oil on top of the lower intake manifold down in the little "valleys" right below and next to the lower intake bolts. Oil was only by the front two bolts on each cylinder bank at the pulley side of the engine.
Well after ruling out the possibility of oil comming from the rocker cover gasket or the lower intake gasket, the only possible route for the oil to get there was up through the bolt threads.
Well my suspicions proved to be correct. What I did was remove the four bolts one at a time and reinstall them with Permatex 2B coated on the threads. Walah, no more oil leaks.
I thought I would share this story with you guys in case someone got oil in their "ice tray".
