Oil PSI gauge?

Default Oil PSI gauge?

today i noticed my oil PSI gauge kept dropping a little bit when i came to a complete stop but would go up when i hit the gas is this normal or is there something wrong?

A quick answer to your question is "thats totally normal" But if it is droping into the red or close to that is not normal. Now that it is getting warmer outside our motors won't be able to cool off as easy so they will become heat soaked easier and oil thins out when it is hot so that adds to the lower oil pressure.

at warm idle the gague should read about 40psi
