Oil PSI

Default Oil PSI

If anyone can help me out? I was driving on the interstate and oil psi was fine, took exit ramp and oil psi gage spiked, oil level is good, check it every day. does any one have a idea what gremlin hit my baby. email me at my yahoo if anyone can help. thanks

Post moved to it'* own thread.

Chances are it'* a bad oil sender or a problem with the gauge. Check the connections for corrosion;

Also, what year car do you have? Please add your cars year and trim level to your sig.

The oil pressure sending unit is on top of the oil filter housing.

The sender is on the block in back I believe. The one on the front of the pan is the oil level.

it right above the oil filter , like a 30$ part and very easy to fix

Yah mine has been like for since the beginning of winter, its not really hurting anything except you don't know if theres a pressure issue, there are a couple on rockauto beacuse i'm looking to get one, which is the right one?
