Default Odd Motor Sound. . . .

About 20-30 seconds after I start the car I sometimes here a sound that resembles a motor coming from the back-end of the car. I do have the optional air pump in the trunk, could that be it?

Yes, that is your ELC compressor leveling out the car. No worries. If it runs constantly, you may have a strut leak.

Thanks, I thought it was normal, but it never hurts to ask.

Yeah it usually comes on within 10 seconds after you start the car. I think all cars should have this feature.
