OBD Code Help - Stability System - C1255 EBCM

OBD Code Help - Stability System - C1255 EBCM
Bonneville SSEI - 2000 - Service Stability System came and and is staying on - unplugging battery & clearing codes in system didn't help.
We had a friend be able to pull codes from it as follows:
C1255 EBCM Malf
C1248 EBCM Turn on Red Brk Warn
I believe the 2nd one may be a warning the Parking Brake was on - but the first one sounds like the possible issue - but the error code is any vague.
Does anyone have an details on how to correct that - is it a sensor ? Or something else?
