Default O2 sensor

does anyone use the Denso O2 sensor? at $38.99 (RockAuto) that is darn cheap for an O2 sensor if it works, the AC Delco ($63.99) one i put in only lasted 38,000 miles. Denso makes a good plug but i dont know about the O2 sensors. So if somebody has any info on the Denso O2 , please share, if you got good or bad gas milage, how long it lasted .......

3rd in 25K?

What do you think is burning the things up. Sounds like the 02'* are working overtime. That is definitely abnormal performance for any 02.

Paul, the Denso O2 is suppose to be more lead tolerant. Rockauto has it for $39 ,how much more would it be to have it shipped to Canada? cant be much $2 or $3 , maybe send it as a gift ? keep it in mind.

Good to know Rod, thanks for pointing that out.

I need a spare O2 sensor so it sounds like a plan.

Canada customs dings us pretty good for "handling" fees, taxes and brokerage. It usually costs me in Cdn dollars, double the price in US dollars by the time shipping cost is factored in.
Sending it as a gift will save me 25%.

.....they even charged me $20. when Intense shipped me the free warranty replacement gaskets.
