I have all the same issues as you, what was the problems you had fixed? I have swapped Cam sensor and ICM. I am about to do Coils (which seems hard to believe all 3 would go out at once) and if that doesn't work I will be trying to Crank sensor.
Car died randomly, turns over but wont start. Bypassing injectors with starter fluid still wont allow car to start, fuel pressure is OK but not what it should be (even if low starter fluid should be enough to at least have it start up and then die). This makes no sense and my dad and I work on cars all the time and I have never come across this.
Thanks for any help you can give!

Some things to try.

Unplug the cam sensor and try to start engine, does engine run? If yes, replace cam sensor.

Your fuel pressure should be between 48-55 with key on engine off. If less, replace filter.

Test your coils, spark does not mean good spark

Check the fuse for the fuel injectors

Testing the crank sensor is a bit more involved, but you unplug it, then test the CKP sync signal with a test light to B+ I don't recall which wire that is, sorry. If the test light is on, then check wires, if off, replace the sensor.

I just did a quick write up on some tests for a crank no start. These are general tests. You will need to look up wires and pins for testing. We simply cover to many different years, models, and makes here to include this information. I will try to add to this write up as information becomes available. As I get wire colors etc I will try to add to this. If I missed something, jet let me know and I will add it. This is something I wrote up quick to cover most areas to check.

Thanks for the help, I will check out the new info. I am in the process of doing Crank sensor, need to get the puller and break the bolt loose tomorrow and hopefully put back together and see if it starts. If it doesn't then we tried everything but computer swap.... strange that motor only has 20,000 miles tops and this happens. It makes me think its not the engine itself but last resort is to open up the valve covers and look in. Oil is not milky, fuses are all good, and its backfiring pretty good through the intake...without the butterfly valve open I think its even pushing air out the right side of plastic upper intake opposite the throttle body!
Pretty much this sucks!

If you car is really backfiring when trying to start, this is usually a timing issue. I ran into this recently with my buddies Pontiac Sunbird. In order to adjust the timing on that, its simply twisting the distributor. I would start by checking timing and making sure everything is lined up to Number 1 cylinder and try starting it...

I'm hoping Crank sensor takes care of this issue all together. There is no distributor to adjust so I am not sure how I would go about adjusting the timing.

No distributor, timing is electronically controlled.
