New Transmission = No Shimmy ?

My outer tie rods I replaced myself last week (helped some). The inners didn't have any play in them. My car normally shifts very well, so I don't think I have any pcs issues.
Is there anything serviceable on the torque converter? I always thought it had its own grease that'* just there for life. Motor mounts are still in play - but I've had some really worn ones on other cars and didn't get this type of vibration at speed.

All my mount'* are the original mount'*(167,000 miles) except my solid front mount(147,000 miles). With the solid mount the other engine mounts don't flex much so they last forever if you keep oil or fuel off of them. They put in an rebuilt torque converter with the same stall as the old one.

What brand of tires you guys running? I know that the Michilins I had actually rode better at higher speeds, likely due to their use of softer rubber, than my Dunlops I have now, but the Dunlops are a much much sportier tire.

I'm running Bridgestone Turanza 225/60/R16s. That'* an interesting post by rrounds saying they did put on the different torque converter as well as the new tranny.
Rrounds you should have put in the new tranny, left the old tc on, test drove, see how the vibration was, then take off the old tc, put on the new one, then test drive again! lol jk but if there was some angel bonneville owner out there they'd go to that hassle and expense for all of us vibration sufferers so that we'd have more information on this puzzle.
