Default NEW TIRES

got my new tires today (BFG 255/50ZR17 G FORCE KDWS)
had 65k on the Michelin (235/55HR17) darn good tire , just wanted a wider tire and the BFG'* only set me back $132.00 a tire. the BFG'* have the same treadwear rating (400) as the Michelin'* so i hope to get about the same mileage. the car looks good with the wider tires, GM should have offered the 255'* as a option. did i say the car looks GOOD.

Got any pics of that custom motor mount???

False KR can be a problem with the cheesy front motor mounts on the 2000+ Bonnies when the engine torques back and fully compresses the back mount.

2000SilverBullet has some pic'* of his (old and new),
make your mount and your engine will not torque back.

no can do on the pic'* , i still use a 35mm camera some day i'll get a new digital camera.
the tires run smooth at 125 mph, so far i like the way the car handles with the BFG'*.
don't know how they handle when its wet, temp'* have been in the low 100'* we
don't usually get any rain till Oct.
