i just went to the dealership to look at the gto and they had the new boonevile gxp. it was painted in the cadilac white that shifts from brown to blue. man that was a awesome looking car. I did not know it was even availbe out side of a cady but i sure am glad they put it on the bonneville. just thought you'd like to know

I saw a GXP at the dealership while my SLE was getting programmed for a new FOB. Didn't look any nicer than mine. The tail pipes were different and the side panels looked different and I am sure its faster but I am more than satisfied with mine. The new GXP does not have any greater visual appeal than ours in my view.

yeah that is the one thing i thought too. i do not like what they did with the fog lights. the way they are now gives the car a cool look when you have just the fog lights and the parking lights on. which by the way i can not do at all times. some times when i turn my parking lights on it turns my "day time" lights on as well and other times it will just be the parking lights. is there a way to manually just haev the parking lights and the fog lights on. i know that when the windshield wipers are on they default to come on but i can not figure out why the day lights come on some times and others do not. have to love the 18" wheels on the gxp though

Having driven the new GXP ....I'd prefer my 2000ssei and like to upgrade it with these features from the GXP
1. performance struts ,spring & shocks
2. 18 inch wheels and tires
3 front strut bar
4. big rotors and caliphers
The new styling and northstar just dont trip my trigger. But the car handles and stops GREAT.

You would think that the GXP would have Xenon lighting. I have had my 04 SLE for almost a month now and will write up a review in a few weeks. There is a lot to like about the 04 Bonneville but you would think that some things would have been improved upon. I also liked the way the GXP had the fog lamps positioned. It looks like a set of PIAA or CATZ projector fog lamps will fit right into the opening.
