I have a powertuner only because its significantly cheaper than an HP tuners and it does pretty much everything I need it to do. (I paid $360 shipped for it with the wideband input over a year ago) Its awesome
Shawn, please PM me the link for this unit so I investigate purchase.

Their website appears to be a bit out of date actually. All powertuners come with the wideband input now for the $399 price and they are open for all GM V6 (3100, 3400, 3800) '97-05, this is new as of the latest release of the program.

I got mine used thats why it was $360, but that was back when one with the input and all that was $499. I have seen used ones on clubgp for $300 numerous times so you could try just keeping an eye out there for them. But buying one new for $399 is a lot less hassle and then you get the support directly from DHP and access to the powertuner forum and all that. If you buy used you have to rely on the old owner of the powertuner to turn over their user name/password to you with the tuner.

The HP tuners isn't that much more expensive if you're only gonna do like 1-2 cars, its just that it costs you X amount per car, and thats what would've gotten me.

Unless you wait for Gonneville to sell another for $100

The HP Tuner comes with 8 credits. 4 credits open an entire year, 2 credits open a single vin. In my case..I opened all 97'* and had 4 credits left over.

I still can't find a vendor who sells one.

The HP tuners link doesn't work and the Powertuner site talks about it but doesn't sell it. :? I tried the links to 3800 Perf, Grand Prix, etc and even they doen't sell them......WTF :?:

I really doen't like the credit thing. I would prefer a tuner that is open to tune whatever you want if you spend that much money

For DHP, you might try going to the pricing and availability page. Then choose Dealers at the top.

HP Tuners link is fixed.

That is what I did and none of the vendors had it for sale.
