Yes it is low. I get 23 to 24 MPG running around the city and goosing it when needed.
On the road I get 27 to 29 in the winter due to the gas mix. In the summer I get 30 to 32 on the open road.

Ok did a spark plug/ wire swap with tr55'* and premium wires. now when i start, it idles rough. could i of got the wires mixed up with the right spark plug. is the order 1-3-5 for the front left to right and 2-4-6 from left to right viewing from the front?

Sounds right for your numbers. Did you use any dielectric grease on the coil pack posts or in the boots? One of my coils had rust on both posts when I changed em out.

The grease will help to prevent corrosion, and make for much easier removal of the boots when the time comes. It will not affect the spark. Check the routing of your wires to be sure they are not touching the O2 sensor in the rear exhaust manifold. #6 (yes, 2, 4 and 6 are on the firewall side of the engine) is the one that will often cause problems with that. Check to be sure that all boots are seated properly.

I'm not convinced of your driving habbits. Go out on the highway, set the cruise at 55mph, and then reset the avg MPG in the DIC. What mileage do you get cruising at 55mph for 10 miles.
