I've had this same problem on mine. This summer I'll be complaining again as it seems that the last time they fixed it (March) it was still cold enough to not let the tape adhere properly. If you can, wait for warm weather that way everything sticks like its supposed to.

What Smellbird is saying is what worries me. I bet there is no way to fix it without it pulling apart again. The moulding sticking out is really bothering me!
Today, the Check Tire Pressure came on for no reason and my Keyless remote quit. Took the keyless apart and resoldiered the battery holder, and reset the Tire Pressure monitor. All in a days work I guess.

The factory uses a very special two sided 3M tape that is supposed to be permanent.
It should be done under warranty for you.
Wait until the temp is over 50 F or have it done in a warmed garage.
Both surfaces have to be microscopically clean.
This tape is stronger than clips....but not removeable like clips. :(
