Default motor issues

I have a 2000 SSei, It has a loud ticking or tapping sound when above idle. As the rpms increase so does sound and loudness of the sound. I have removed both the supercharger belt and the main serpantine belt, sound is still there. Local GM mechanic suggested a spun bearing, rod bad or possibly the torque convertor is loose. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the sound high on the engine, or low? If it'* high it'* not a spun bearing. Take off the supercharger belt and check for any play in the pulley by turning it back and forth. Could be a bad coupler. Although that will have a box of rocks sound, not a tap tap tap. Other high sounds could be a stuck lifter, bend push rod, sticky valve, bad rocker. For that you can pull the valve cover and take a look.

I put seafoam in and went for about a 2 mile drive on the way back the tapping got louder and the motor seized. I can still turn the motor with a socket of the bottom pulley (crank pulley ?) , but car will not start

You still have not said where the sound was coming from. That however is no longer important. A top and tap would not kill the engine. A lower knock would. If you spun a bearing you will need a new lower end with good rotating assembly.
