2000 SSEI 113,xxx mi.
I hooked up the code scanner/code clearer. The codes came up Mass Air Flow Low Voltage. and then something else about my MAFS. I had read through the tech info about cleaning it and it'll clear up the ruff idle, but does anyone know if that will keep my engin light from coming on????
thanks....
oh also for when I decide to get a FWI (which I took on a second job today so maybe sometime soon) do I have to take off the front clip to get it on??

91, a MAF cleaner won't clear a code. A dirty maf will only ALTER the reading by the PCM.
Please be VERY careful about this type of advice, and please also use proper spelling so people can understand you.
If the car is running rough and you suspect the MAF, disconnect the MAF and see if the condition improves. If so, replace the MAF.
Clean the MAF with NOTHING other than rubbing (isopropyl or isopropanol) alcohol, pure methanol, or electrical contact cleaner.

And you do not ever want to suggest spraying any type of cleaner into a supercharger by the can'* recommended instructions.
The cleaner can very easily strip off your supercharger rotor coating. Let'* take a look at a lesson learned the hard way.
The internals should not be shiney.

This is the coating that came out already

And the bearings in those two holes..are greased nicely, never want to clean that grease out.
