Default MAF Gargling

OK, had AAA car care center replace the MAF when it quit. Since then the car has a gargling sound coming from the area close to the inlet screen on the TB. When the car warms up the gargling goes away. Any ideas?

I told my wife to stop pouring Listerine in the gas tank, but that didn't fix the problem.

Any chance we can get a video of the noise? You can upload it to youtube and then take the link and go into advanced mode by clicking the "Go Advanced" button below. Then click the youtube button and insert your link.

Default Year and model

Bone Stock 2001 SLE, 97K miles it'* the wifes car. Log on is her vanity plate, she'* a teacher.

Just found the forum, getting answers to questions I've had for a while. I really like the car, perfect combination of sporty and luxury. If she ever gets something else I'm looking at tuning it out.

I'm usually a MOPAR nut, also own 01 Dakota Quad Cab and my other cars have been 1990 Daytona, 92 Dakota and 1974 Roadrunner

Does the exhaust have a sweet smell to it? Hows the coolant level? Have you checked for coolant in the oil?

Exhaust smells normal, not that I huff tailpipes on a regular basis. Coolant stays level, I check the oil evry fill up, nothing there. Entire intake serviced by local GM dealer at 80K. Had a 94 SSE that thrashed the oil pump, mains when coolant got in the oil through the manifold.
