Default losing lights

well, the other night i jumped in the car to take my wife to the hospital and had no low beams. I tried turning them on manually and they came on but then went out. after a few moments they came on again and stayed on for 5 minutes then went out again. high beams seem fine, fog lights work , dash lights are all fine. after leaving the hospital the lights worked fine for the trip home and then to my in laws. and then on the way home they quit again.. any ideas ? no fuses bad, don't think the grounds are trouble.

this being my 2005 SLE Bonn..

You are going to have to isloate the problem.

Bad ground, switch or sensor come to mind. Since it works some times, we know the fuses to be ok. I would start checking connectors, cleaning contacts and go from there. This is not a common problem for the 2000-2005 series Bonnevilles.

Turns out the Low Beam Headlight relay was going bad.. replaced it and seems to be working ok now.
