100 different things. I'm thinking the car stalled once. Technical glitch til it happens again.

I tend to read a bit into posts, having asked for info many times on so many...I "think" I know what'* going on from a brief post and most of the time it works well. A few times I 've assumed wrong and it backfires. Heck, none of us are perfect.

I saw
power steering wouldnt work
pushed my pedal down i wasnt going anywhere
battery light was flashing red
still on the start position
acting as if it was dead
lights and music still worked
started back up fine and drove away

That'* a classic, key on, engine off. Stalled.

While that other guy we helped last week... we couldn't tell enough from his post to see a stall. In that case belt or more questions were on the money.

Check battery connections. A loose connection could kill the engine and still let the radio work. Check at teh alt as well.

The 00'* weren't known for the issues though. I think some of it has to do iwth their under backseat location. There'* no heat/cooling etc like we get under the hood.

A little update. Car stalled on my 3 times today. Took it to muffler man ran some codes. seems as if my coolant sensor was unplugged. Plugged that back in and my service engine soon light is still on. just bought a new vac line kit from zzp and its got a leak in it somewhere.

Do you think the coolant sensor being unplugged was the reason my car stalled? or could it be to the leak for the vaccuum hoses? Why is my service engine soon light still on lol.

Stall might be related to both. The PCM needs to know the coolant temp. You may need to have that code reset. Scan and post the codes. With a vacuum leak I'm sure you have a P0171 code. Find and fix the vacuum leak and I'm sure the SES light will be gone and the engine will run better.

LOL! That'* usually what happens when the engine stops running....but hmmmm....you might wanna have that thing checked for ghosts? Or atleast turn the bass down a little....all cars run better on low bass.

Something like the coolant sensor should recognize on the first drive cycle and turn the light off. The only way to know why the light is on would be to have the codes read.

Which vacuum line kit did you purchase? (looked and couldn't find one on their site)

If you know you have a vacuum leak, that would be the first thing to fix.
