Default Isn't ABS standard for 00 SE?

I just bought a 00 Bonne SE days ago. I checked autos.msn.com and found that the ABS is standard for this car. But when I turn the key, I do not see any ABS light on the dash board. Isn't ABS strandard for SE?

Another question. I tried to change front brake pads toniight. Everything was fine until I tried to put the caliper back on. I had a hard time to push the piston back. Should I just use a bigger C-Clamp to push it back?

Thanks

ABS sure is standard on all 2000+ Bonnevilles. If you're having trouble getting the caliper back on, make sure you get your brake pads back on correctly. Try switching the pads around. See if the caliper will go on after you put the pads on the backside on the front and vise versa.

ABS will also be printed on the brake pedal.

I will check the brake padel tomorrow.

I just checked mine and "ANTI LOCK" lights up when the key is turned to ON. (Should show up just left of the gear selection on the dash).

On the having trouble getting the caliper piston back in....loosen the master cylinder cap. Then it should go back in pretty easy. If not you might have another issue going on.
