Called the dealer today for my annual intermediate steering shaft replacement. The rep told me the old design is no longer available unless you call a special customer satisfaction line.

They are expecting the new part to be available in three months or so. Maybe the new design will last longer than the trip home!

FWIW- I just got my replaced under warranty yesterday. The part number on the work order is 26068295. Service writer verified that this is the new design.
