Default Interior Door Panel removal

Have a 2001 SSEI; rear/drivers side power window has fallen, suspect faulty window regulator. I'm no mechanic; trying to temporarily lock window in upright position. Have removed speaker cover, two reflectors, and power window control module and have not been able to locate any screws that secure the panel to the door.

1. What are the proper steps to remove the rear door panel?

2. What would be the easiest/effective way to temporaily stow the window in the upright position. Don't want to spend $200 this close to holidays to restore power to a window we seldom open.

Thanks.
Don

My friend'* rear passenger regulator went Friday. I didn't want to take the chance of ruining the track by clamps or screws, so I took a short piece of 2x4 (maybe 5-6 inches or so, shoved it under the window about in the middle of the door, after removing the regulator. The block of wood lined up with one of the holes in the door panel, so I took a wood screw with a washer and screwed it into that block. Saved some money during the Christmas season, will allow fixing it in warmer weather, and allow being able to send the regulator in to be rebuilt, rather than dealing with a core charge.

Theres a few people on Ebay that rebuild the regulators, some members here have used the service with good results.
I use a c-clamp to hold the window up and have no issues with anything breaking or pinching.
The part that breaks is the plastic track piece, this causes the cable to bind and snap off.
