Default How many miles you got.

Just curious as to what kind of miles everyone'* got on there bonnevilles. My '02 SE is just getting to 109,000 miles and other than 3,000 mile oil changes, spark plugs and wires at 100,000, I haven't touched it mechanically. Everything else I've done has been cosmetic, i.e., bumper covers, tires and such. I am starting to wonder about that tranny fluid, though. I figure at this point I'm better off leaving it, kinda doin' an experiment.

I'd be counting my blessings for a GM car to not have issues up to 109K. They just seem to have little issues now and then that you have to put up with.

I have a 00 SE @106,000. I bought it last Nov @92K and have replaced the ELC height sensor, RR power window motor, and this morning my trac off light, ABS off, and Brakes warning lights all turned on. I suspect it may be the electronic brake control module, but have not had succes finding info on it here yet. My issues seem to be electronic related. I don't think they are excessive, but I haven't had it long enough yet to know.
I am due for the tranny flush and radiator flush as well. Just moved here and don't really know what shop to trust yet. I hate to pay dealer rates but at least I'd feel it was in good hands.

I have 142K. I do alot of highway. No problems with the engine. With me its the transmission. #2 as of today. I don't even drive crazy. The 1st (orig) one got 50k and the 2nd (gm rebuilt) got 92k. I change all the fluids as recommended. Driver side hub bearing went also. Different time. So if anything get your trans checked if you never did. Like the car but hate to sink that kind of money into it when you still have payments. It'* like they are built not to last.

I lied. I also changed the EGR valve. I forgot about that. Believe it or not, when I bought the car in '03, I had the intention of letting the tranny service go, just to see how long she would make it. I put on 100 miles a day all interstate driving so following the recommended service intervals really made no sense to me. I just can't let the oil changes go, though. New Quaker State filter and 5w30 every 3000 makes me feel good.

00 SSEi=52k miles 00 SLE=65k miles. 01' Aurora= 44k miles

The SSEi'* rear air shocks are shot, the ELC pump has died once, the new ELC pump leaks air, battery went dead, fuel pump makes a loud constant humming noise that can be heard over road noise, does not remember mirror/radio settings...ever. Front BOSE 6.5" woofer on the driver'* side works intermittently and sounds horrible. That'* about it so far. The 00 SLE has had no problems thus far.

The SSEi has 138k on it and change. We bought it after the '01s were released, it was one they were trying to get rid of (we got it in late August '00), so its basically like having that kind of miles on an '01. But anyways, we've replaced the rear window motors, drivers wheel bearing, drivers halfshaft (due to the tire shop ripping it), lower intake gasket, front brake pads, tires twice, and I think thats about it. The hood was fixed under warranty, as was one of the molding pieces on the doors. Other than that just normal maintenance. Oil changes usually come about 1k after it starts saying to change the oil, so about every 6-7k it gets an oil change. Still on the original tranny. *knock on wood* So, we can't complain with how well it has treated us so far.

'00 SLE w/115k miles need to replace FR window motor in the process of replacing fuel pump because of bad sending unit just waiting for it to arrive and lately the motor has been shaking violently i don't think its a misfire but its really bad and i have no time what so ever to take it anywhere because i am always busy.
