my guess would be around 130 mph, more or less. road quality will be a factor.

That fast with just an L36? Even with the 3.05:1? Wouldn't that cut into top speed? Or maybe not?

well the L27 should hit about 129 before its limited by aero drag....and the 00+ are more aero dynamic

When i bought my bonneville, the boost control solenoid was bad, i was still able to get
130 mph , with practicaly no boost.

I dont tried it since, my car was only doing 16.4@ 86mph on quarter mile.

I got 130 mph the long strech of SANAIR dragway /raceway .

Now it should be interesting

Well how similar is the L27 to the L36 and is the weight, hp, aerodynamics make its a wash? Would it be about the same?

Mmm, im sure you will have a higher top speed, due to the aerodynamics, but i dont know really well the L27. Im sure you can get 130 mph on a nice surface.

Do all Bonnevilles come with governors? I'm a little ignorant about stuff like that and didn't even think about it with mine. I've only gotten up to 125 mph.
