is there a way for me to check dtc codes by pressing a series of buttons? I know caddillacs have this feature.

my damn car 2000 se is shaking like a **** when I start it and ses light is flashing so I dont want to drive it to autozone for a free scan.

I have replaced so far
plugs ngk
wires napa
coil pack just 1 because #4 was misfiring
Iginiton control module
cleaned EGR valve and Maf sensor

reset ecu by removing battery

none of this helped

getting frustrated now and before I tow it in, want to see wtf is going on.

Unfortunately, you need a scanner on these cars. You have the right idea not to drive the car when you are getting a flashing SES light. Your best option might be to buy a cheap OBD2 scanner, probably cheaper than a tow.
