High beam lever
Ive got a freind that just picked up a 00 Regal GS and when he pushes the blinker lever forward to turn on the hight beam lights it just flips back. does anyone know if there is an adjustment you can make like a tensioner to make it stay forward or is there some sort of resistor that may have worn or broke that would need to be replaced. I have never had this issue with my switch.

I think that switch is worn and needs to be replaced, there'* no adjustment that I know of. You should be able to get a good price at Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto

On my 04 Bonneville, pulling the lever towards you is for a quick flash of the high beams. Pushing the lever towards the front of car will lock it in for high beams.

This may sound stupid, but is his high beam **** the type where you click forward to keep them on? I know newer gm'* you have to push them foward but on older ones you have to click it once towards you. Never driven a Regal so i'm not sure.
