Hesitation
My 2000 Bonneville SSEI hesitates at around 1500 to 1700 rpms, no matter what the speed. can anyone help with this. i have tried cleaning the fuel system, to no avail. it helps a bit then does it again.

Get your DTC'* (diagnostic trouble codes) pulled. If you don't have access to a code scanner, Autozone will do it for free. You may have a misfire, which would lead to plugs, wires and coils as a start. Did you change the fuel filter. Could also be a fuel pump issue, but the first step is to pull codes.
Let us know what codes show up.

I changed the filter, cleaned the fuel injection system. it has been doing this off and on for about 5 years. my scanner doesn't pick up any codes, but i'll have them do it at autozone. i think it might be my fuel pressure regulator. i had to have a coil replace but this is different. it seems to not be getting any fuel. thanks for the assist.

In reality though, I've yet to see one register 48-55psi. I usually find the 00+'* at about 40 and with a new pressure regulator about 44psi.
I doubt you are having a fueling issue at 1500-1700 rpm. When was the last time you changed the plugs and wires, checked the coils for any corrosion on the tower posts?
Usually a stumble at this rpm is high load low rpm based. aka ignition.
